Arsenal, Inc. Supports Harry Reid

Is the irony of an "assault weapons" corporation supporting a rabid hoplophobe lost on anyone? Remember: silence is assent
Nevada Business Leaders Sign Letter Supporting Reid, Denouncing Angle on Economy
LAS VEGAS – As Sharron Angle continues hemorrhaging support, the Reid campaign released a letter signed by nearly 100 Nevada business leaders from across the state to publically announce their support for Senator Harry Reid and send the clear signal that Nevada’s business community has made its choice in this election.
The letter was announced today during press conferences in Las Vegas and Reno where Nevada business leaders like Palms Hotel owner George Maloof and Harrah’s Marybel Batjer joined representatives from large and small businesses across the state to show their commitment to Senator Reid’s re-election.
The message was clear: Sharron Angle’s extreme and dangerous economic agenda would be disastrous for Nevada’s business community.
The letter states:
“The reality is that from the perspective of Nevada’s entrepreneurs and employers, Sharron Angle’s extreme and dangerous ideas about the economy would be utterly disastrous for our state’s economic recovery. In fact, Angle has demonstrated such a fundamental disconnect with the state’s major economic drivers – mining, tourism, gaming, construction, and clean energy – that her election would dramatically undermine the future of our state’s economic viability.
“In short, Nevada simply cannot afford Sharron Angle and her damaging agenda.”
Other signatories of the letter include:

Steve Cloobeck, Diamond Resorts International®

Arsenal Support: What a load of crap! First off, there is no guarantee that Reid would be replaced with someone much worse--especially if you put your money where your mouth is and supported a real Pro-2A, Pro-freedom candidate. I suppose you have inherited this "lesser of two evils" mindset from your buddies at the NRA, who are a bunch of appeasers who think that feeding the crocodile will convince him to eat you last.
Secondly, I call attention to this section of your letter:
Coming back to the issue of Senator Harry Reid, I would like to make clear that neither Arsenal Inc., K-Var Corp., nor I personally have made any donation to Senator Reid’s campaign nor have we solicited anyone to vote for him. We did not draft the letter that has been circulating in the Internet. Nor did we participate in the event where the letter was released.
You may not have donated financially, but you have seen how your (former) customers are willing to answer your verbal support of Reid by voting with their dollars. You may not have drafted the letter, or even been at the event where the letter was released, but those things are immaterial. The simple, damning fact is that you did sign it.
The nation is look at Nevada today. Good luck, and God speed.
